My baby boy is finally here!
After 40 weeks of carrying him, several hours of contractions, and only 40 minutes of pushing my 7lbs. 7oz. 20.5 in long baby boy was born January 6, 2010 at 5:54pm. And he is absolutely perfect.

Waiting for Tanner
Well the time has come to meet my little man, the inspiration for this blog. If I don't go into labor tonight, I will be induced tomorrow morning. I can't wait to meet the active, stubborn little guy that I have been carrying around for the last 40 weeks. As soon as we get settled in I will be posting pics of my new son, Tanner. I hope this blog can be a place where my out-of-town family and friends can stay tuned into our new lives, be a place where new and veteran mothers can converse and be inspired, and also try and showcase that motherhood and homes with children can still be stylish and chic.
